Akira Saito studierte Veterinärmedizin an der Universität für Landwirtschaft und Technologie in Tokio, Japan, und schloss sein Studium im Jahr 2007 ab. Kurz darauf wechselte er zu Evident, wo er als Anwendungsspezialist für In-vivo-Bildgebungssysteme, High-Content-Analysesysteme und konfokale Lasersysteme zuständig war und Kunden in Japan unterstützte. 2013 übernahm er die Verkaufsförderung für alle Life-Science-Produkte von Evident. 2018 zog er nach Singapur, um Marketing- und Anwendungssupport für den APAC-Markt zu unterstützen und 2023 kehrte er zum globalen Produktmarketing zurück.
