Hi, my name is Flavio Giacobone and I am responsible for slide scanning solutions across the Olympus Europa markets. Imaging has always been in my blood, starting from my degree in biomedical engineering, and joining Olympus has allowed me to experience first-hand the shift to digital, which has been happening in many clinical and research fields. I built my expertise in whole slide imaging starting from Olympus’ first scanner, the dotSlide, so I have witnessed with my own eyes how much progress has been made since that first product.
