The BX43 upright microscope suits a variety of observation needs in one cost-effective and high-performance system. Modular components enable you to customize the microscope for brightfield, polarization, phase contrast, and fluorescence. Adapt the system with observation tubes, stages, objectives, and more to tailor it to your application.

BX43 Manual System Microscope

High Performance in a Cost-Effective System

The modular BX43 microscope enables you to choose between cost-efficient and advanced configurations, depending on your needs. Modular components, such as ergonomic observation tubes and stages, make it simple to customize your microscope to your application.

High Color Rendering White LED

With luminosity equivalent to a 30 W halogen lamp, this long-lasting LED provides a consistent color temperature at any brightness level with an estimated 20,000-hour lifetime.

Immersive Views, Enhanced Decisions

Fully explore routine pathology samples in a more immersive view that supports efficient evaluations and decisions with an upgraded FN26.5 ocular.

See More, Work Faster

See 31% more of your sample at once with the unmatched field of view on our FN26.5 ocular. This wider view—with the same optical quality as the standard FN22—reduces the hand movements needed to adjust the slide and fully explore your sample, supporting faster analyses and decisions.

An Immersive View

Fully explore your sample in a more natural and immersive view. A wider view enables natural eye movement as you navigate through the slide, improving comfort and efficiency during routine work.

Light Intensity Manager for Uniform Brightness

Maintain Brightness when Changing Magnifications

The light intensity manager eliminates the step of having to adjust the brightness when changing magnification, helping you complete your work faster and with less eye strain.

Customizable for Different Observation Styles

Modular units enable you to customize your microscope for brightfield, polarization, phase contrast, and fluorescence. Modular options include:

  • Condensers
  • Observation Tubes
  • Nosepieces
  • Stages
  • Objectives
  • Intermediate optics

Observe Cellular Tissue

The LPLN40X objective enables you to image thick, clear samples at 40X magnification. The objective’s correction collar makes it easy to adjust for the spherical aberration caused by differences in cover glass thickness to get clear images.

Applied Technologies

Stay Comfortable with the Ergonomic Tube

The tube moves up and down, tilts, and extends forward and back. With this one component, users of nearly any height can adjust the scope so that they’re comfortable.

Highly Adjustable Binocular Tube

Optimal Lighting for Pathology and Cytology

LED Made for Clinical Research Applications

The LED’s color rendering index is similar to a halogen bulb with a daylight filter. Stains look the same as if you were using a traditional daylight filtered halogen lamp and similar colors can be differentiated. Unlike a halogen light source, the LED has an estimated 20,000-hour lifetime.

Condensers for Clinical Research Brightfield Applications

For clinical research where brightfield observation of stained specimens, such as HE-stained tissue, is common, we offer condensers with white tops, enabling you to easily position slides by eye. Condensers for darkfield, phase contrast, and low-magnification observations are available.

Abbe condenser

Abbe condenser (4X to 100X magnification)

Low-magnification condenser

Low-magnification condenser (2X to 100X magnification)

Swing-out condenser

Swing-out condenser (1.25X to 100X magnification)

8-position universal condenser

8-position, universal condenser enables brightfield, phase contrast, darkfield, polarized light, and DIC observations
