In the chemical industry, manufacturers turn raw materials, like oil, into thousands of products that are used in countless applications. Central to this process are pipelines and tanks used to transport and store chemicals during different stages of manufacturing.

XRF analyzers are used to confirm that the correct corrosion-resistant alloy is installed in the right location, while flaw detectors and thickness gages are used to verify the integrity of welds in pipes and tanks and monitor for corrosion.
