IXplore SpinGo Spinning Disk Confocal System

User-Friendly Confocal Spinning Disk System

The IXplore™ SpinGo spinning disk imaging system is designed to deliver full-resolution confocal microscopy in an accessible, space-efficient configuration. Built around CrestOptics CICERO spinning disk technology, the IXplore SpinGo is available with either laser-or LED-based illumination to support a range of fluorescence imaging applications and performance requirements.

3D glomerulus

High-Speed Imaging of Small and Large Samples

The IXplore SpinGo delivers a fast image acquisition speed (15K rpm) and sensitivity for live-cell imaging and large-scale 3D object imaging. Due to its large field of view (up to 22 mm FOV), the system offers a efficient scanning process and can capture large samples in a single frame.

Flexible Confocal System for a Range of Imaging Needs

The IXplore SpinGo is a reliable and flexible solution. Access both widefield and confocal modalities and a wide spectral range, enabling a wide variety of applications. Compatible with both LEDs and lasers as illumination sources, the platform provides the flexibility to suit your research needs now and in the future.

Near-Infrared Imaging

With access to broad range of laser lines from 405 nm to 730 nm, all CrestOptics systems can access near-infrared (NIR) wavelengths to:

  • Provide deeper optical penetration
  • Reduce noise
  • Minimize risk to samples during in vivo imaging

High-Performance Laser Diode Illuminators

CrestOptics spinning disk units are powered by laser diode illuminators (LDIs) from 89 North. The LDI is a multiline, solid-state laser illuminator offering up to 1,000 milliwatts of output power via a multimode fiber at the price of a low-power LED light engine. With feedback-controlled output stability and up to a 100:1 linear dynamic range, the LDI is the ideal light source for a wide range of applications.

LDIs are fully integrated laser combiner systems. They are easy to use and maintain, without any need for user laser alignment.
