Developmental biology is the study of how tissues or organs develop and form organisms. Model organisms such as Drosophila, Caenorhabditis elegans, zebrafish, or mice are typically used. To properly examine biological development, researchers must observe the fine structures of the tissue and the cells in detail while acquiring an overview of the sample. Our macro zoom microscope has a wide zoom magnification range, enabling seamless observation of the whole sample or tissue as well as the cells’ expression fluorescence. Our confocal laser scanning microscope delivers high-resolution, high signal-to-noise ratio, multicolor fluorescence images using a high-sensitivity spectral detector. The imaging software’s accurate image stitching function enables you to quickly locate target cells in the macro image and follow up with higher resolution imaging of the cell’s fine structures. The spinning disk confocal microscope is advantageous for imaging live samples due to its high-speed imaging with reduced phototoxicity.
